If you are not feeling well, stay home!
Contact us at:
info@wabashafood.com or 651.565.5667 and leave a message letting us know you need food. We are usually able to get you a delivery within 1 or 2 business days.

Everyone who needs food!

We use the State guideline of 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. For a household of one, you qualify if your income is less than $3,190 a month. For a household of four, you would qualify if your income is less than $6,550 a month. If you have any questions about eligibility, or are experiencing a crisis that makes it difficult for you to access food, please visit during open hours, email us at info@wabashafood.com or call 651-565-5667 and leave a message and we will do our best to help.

Although the Wabasha Area Food Share primarily serves residents in the nearby Wabasha/Kellogg area, all residents of Minnesota may visit. If you don’t live in the area, see “Other Resources” below.

We do free home deliveries and also allow shopping by proxy, so if you know someone who may need food or who struggles to get access to food, we can help!

Any individual or household that qualifies to receive food from the Food Share may visit whenever they need. Because the Food Share focusses on providing many healthy fresh items like fresh produce and dairy, we encourage weekly or bi-weekly visits for these perishable items.

First visit of each calendar year: Complete a short form regarding contact information and household size. You do not have to sign up ahead of time or make an appointment, just come during open hours.

Each Time You Visit: You will be warmly greeted at the door and briefly checked in by our Manager, Martha Black. You will be given a clean, sanitized cart to use and you will be allowed to help yourself to the items you choose. As you shop at your own pace,  volunteers will be available to help you navigate through the store, bag your groceries and answer any questions. We weigh your cart at the end and the weight is recorded only for informational purposes. There are no weight limits and you will never be asked to put anything back. Your dignity and privacy are very important to us, and even if a volunteer recognizes you, our volunteers are trained on the importance of protecting our customer’s privacy and keeping your visit to the Food Share strictly confidential.

All Are Welcome to shop, stop in or donate during open store hours. No appointment necessary. There is ample parking on the street and next to the building in the parking lot across from the Public Library.
